Whether visiting or looking to join a congregation, you will find a warm welcome at Avonbridge Parish Church of Scotland.

We are a congregation of the Church of Scotland, a linked charge with Torphichen Kirk and part of the Presbytery of West Lothian.

Worship is at 9.45 am each Sunday morning,
with a thriving Sunday school known as the Sunday Explorers.

See the diary page for details of other events.

All are welcome to stay after the service to enjoy a cup of tea, coffee or juice and a biscuit.

After 10 years of service at Avonbridge and Torphichen, our Minister, Rev Cliff Acklam has accepted the call from the North Knapdale Parish Church of Scotland linked with Glassary, Kilmartin and Ford Parish Church where he is due to be inducted on 24 July at 2pm in Kilmartin Church.

Members may be aware that at its June meeting Presbytery discussed the translation of Cliff to the Presbytery of Argyll and the forthcoming vacancy at Avonbridge and Torphichen.  However, as a result of the recent General Assembly decision about reductions in the number of ministries, all Presbyteries have been instructed to review their Plans.  Because of this, the vacancy process has been put on hold until West Lothian Presbytery Plan has been reviewed.  Members will be kept advised of progress as and when it happens.
